My weight loss journey has been going on my entire life. I was an overweight kid and teenager. One psychotic break later and I stopped eating entirely and lost 60 pounds in four months. I was very unhealthy physically and mentally.
Through great effort and the support of my family I regained some health. I realized my addiction to sugar and all things sweet. It’s been my drug since I was a child. Overcoming this daily temptation is still a problem that I haven’t figured out.
Three healthy pregnancies later I am trying to lose my baby weight and feel confident again. My current weight is 195 and my goal is 165 lbs. This would be a healthy weight and I would be so happy to reach my goal. My plan is the IF 5:2 method. If anyone has done this and has any pointers I would love to know. Here’s to a healthy and happy 2021!
