Hi everyone , i am at the very start of my weight loss journey. Iam 26 years old , and about 80 pounds overweight. I started a diet like 5 weeks ago , and i am following it nicely, no problem here I also walk for 40 minutes 3 times a week , this one was hard but i am getting better at committing to it too. I've read multiplie articles about how lifting weights is good for weight loss too , but i can't find any beginners guide to that. I assume lifting for the sake of weight loss isn't the same as lifting for getting more buff? If that make any sense. Like how many days should i lift in a week? What muscles to train? Should i lift heavy or light weights? Thats how clueless i am. Any advice would be much appreciated :)
