We are a very large, diverse group from all over the world. Yet we now share two things in common. We are all somewhere on our journey of weight loss and now we are experiencing significant changes in our life due to the pandemic. I believe that other people's experience and knowledge can be one of the best resources. So, I thought I'd start a thread collecting tips and ideas you are using during this time. Any suggestion is welcome. You never know how much you can help and inspire someone.
I'll start.

For low impact cardio I like Leslie Sansone videos. They are walking based videos 15,20, 30 and 45 minutes in length available on Youtube and Amazon Prime. I'd say these are good for folks who can't do super jumpy or complex choreography type work outs.
-
To keep up on achieving step goals I simply walk around my house while I'm making some phone calls. I may not be moving at a fast pace but I can be pleasantly surprised at how many steps I get in during some regular conversations/check ins with my older loved ones.
-
To get some movement and to elevate my mood, I get my playlists going and do an old fashion dance party locked in my bedroom where no one can see me make a fool of myself.
-
Finally, I plan out and log my food in my preferred app (MFP) for the day as I eat breakfast. Seeing what I can eat helps me from over indulging.
Please share. I'd love to hear what you are doing during this new phase of our lives? Thanks!
