those last 15-20 lbs? (F40 5’5” SW230 CW167)

looooooong time lurker first time poster. first off this sub saved my life....so thank you to each and every person who’s been a part of this community.

i’ve struggled with my weight my entire life. three years ago i stopped setting weight loss goals and instead set fitness goals. i signed up for a half marathon (had never run more than a mile) and committed to a 20 week run/walk training plan. i (very slowly) finished the half, and had lost about 15 lbs.

i then discovered this sub and started CICO and all of the various tricks to change how i think about food, including finding an amazing therapist. i proceeded to get down to my current weight over the course of about two years.

i’ve been maintaining (up and down from about 163-170 through 2020. i’ve stayed very active - lift weights at home 2-3x a week and i’m about to hit 500 miles run for the year. i have MAYBE a drink a week now that everything is closed and cook the majority of my meals at home.

i’ve tried IF. cal counting. same lunch/bfast. all the tricks i’ve learned over the last few years but it’s like i can’t shock my body into dropping these last 15-20 that i want to lose.

what advice do folks have who’ve been super plateaued for a while? i know it’s likely going to be “get super strict” with CICO but honestly just hearing your own stories of breaking through will help me, just like all the other stories i’ve read from this sub over the years.
