Stuff nobody tells you about weight loss

Hi all, I went from 167lbs to 121lbs and here’s a small list of things nobody told me would happen during weight loss.

  • your tits shrink, they shrink A LOT. The skin doesn’t go back to normal either, it’s all deflated. You basically look like you’ve got two half filled balloons are nailed to your chest

  • you get a lot more unwanted attention. More cat calling, more creeps goggling at you, more people following you or taking pictures, it’s pretty uncomfortable.

  • your skin changes, since you’re not eating all that processed and sugary crap anymore the redness, inflammation and acne really decrease. You have to find a new way of dealing with your skin.

  • You have so much more energy! I have no idea what to do with it. I sit at a desk all day but I feel so restless all I wanna do was go outside and run or do some Burpee‘s or something to try to rid myself of the energy.

  • you can lose friends. Some people feel so insecure with themselves and the fact that you lost weight and they didn’t that they just leave.

  • you can’t fit into your favorite bra and panty set anymore. You can’t fit into any of the bras and undies you have, so you have to spend a lot of $$$ and buy new ones.

  • same goes for all of your favorite clothes, If you can’t afford to buy a new wardrobe you just have to go outside looking like you’re drowning in fabric.

  • It’s really hard packing up the outfits that you loved so much especially the limited edition/discontinued clothes that you can never buy again. You either have to tailor what you have or buy a whole new wardrobe.

  • tailoring is EXPENSIVE. I had a pair of pants that I could absolutely not give up tailored and it was about $80. Almost twice the price of the pants.

  • you can now wear your favorite shirts as dresses! Sometimes.

  • (in my experience) losing weight is all anyone can talk about with you anymore. You see family and they go “oh you’ve lost so much weight that’s awesome. You look so great blah blah blah” instead of “oh you finished uni with honors that’s awesome”

  • EVERYONE goes to you for diet advice. Most of the time they don’t listen to you and then come back and complain that they’re not skinny.

Losing weight is an amazing achievement and I feel so much better, but I really wish someone had prepared me for this shit I felt pretty blindsided.

Does anyone else have experiences with things nobody told you about when you lost weight?
