Hi, everyone. I started my weight loss journey last April at 265 lbs. Over that spring I completely changed my lifestyle until I was drinking tons of water, eating mostly salads and grilled chicken, and going on 3-and-a-half mile walks daily. I lost 30 pounds by June. By August it had all fallen apart. I gained my weight back until I had hit 245, then 255 by mid-December.
Since then, I've gotten back down to 240, but I haven't really had any NSVs. I don't feel much different and I don't think I look any slimmer, either. I'm still losing weight, but it's slowed down dramatically in the last week as I've lost hold on my lifestyle changes and motivation. I'm not going on as many walks, I'm drinking much less water, and I'm snacking a lot more.
So I guess I'm posting hoping for some validation and encouragement to keep going and keep my motivation up. How have y'all overcome this kind of rut?
