I had the end of a long term relationship in late August. Instead of wallowing in pity, I decided to start being more active and to better myself.
I started to:
- Do 1 hour of a physical activity daily; either a long walk, bike ride, or lifting weights
- Cut out alcohol
- Follow intermittent fasting. I ate at a deficient of around 500 calories and allowed myself 1 cheat meal per week
The results: I lost 30 lbs in about 3 months. I went from 165+ to now 134-136 (depending on the day). I am 5'8.

I am very proud of myself for finally starting to do something about the way I look; I'm starting to feel a lot more confident. I am going to start to focus more on building muscle, as I don't think cutting anymore weight will do good for me.
