I’m 24F and have gained ~30 pounds during the past 2 years. I’m up to 157 lbs which is my highest weight ever. Problem is, my body carries weight horribly. It mostly all goes to my stomach? And I didn’t realize how big my stomach had gotten until the IT guy at my job confidently asked me “how far along are you?” before realizing I wasn’t pregnant and playing it off as a joke. Now lately I feel so self-conscious any time I’m in public, and usually wear long pants and sleeves to hide my body, but my stomach is always still noticeable. It’s so embarrassing and I’m trying to start losing weight to fix it, but my emotional eating got worse during Covid and it’s really hard to stop when eating is a big source of happiness some days. Does anyone else deal with this kind of weight distribution? On a more positive note, I’m excited to start my weight loss journey!
