This is my first ever post, but i'm a long-time lurker. I was recently prescribed wegovy to aid with weight loss, but my insurance didn't cover it, and it was too much out of pocket for me. My doc then prescribed Saxenda, which is covered by my insurance, so I'm going to start that soon.
I've previewed other posts here on reddit regarding Saxenda, but I'd like to see some more recent (2021) reviews. Pros? Cons? Side effects? Since it's a daily injection, did it cause a lot of bruising? Is this medication something that you stopped after a certain amount of time?
