How could you improve willpower?

I've only just begun my weight loss journey (2 weeks in) so I still have the occassional days of binge eating junk food.

This usually happens when I already feel awful - be it really tired or a headache. I zone out and lose my self control so I end up overeating quite a bit of chocolate and unhealthy treats. Afterwards my body feels completely dreadful and gross from the junk food and I really regret my previous decision.

I always end up stopping when it's too late :(

Usually eating something fresh 'cancels out' the gross feeling, but that works in the as good as spinning in the opposite direction to cancel out the effects of spinning in one direction. There's also the fact that I end up feeling worse since the extra food makes me feel even more full.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you manage to overcome that 'hopeless' urge to be lazy and eat junk food?
