Some thoughts about body language and weight loss

Fellow redditers,

I thought a little bit during counting calories and i think this thought is mei intressting or helps one of you:

I think, that inside of you, there are two people. The one in your head, which controls your inner voice, your thoughts etc. and the one inside of your body, which controls your body functions.

Both are talking to each other and your actions, etc. are the results of it. For example: If you want to go to the gym, your head is telling you you don`t want to go exercise etc. (or called lack of will power). Your body you isnt telling you, you dont want to go to sport, tecnically your body is ready to exercise, its well rested etc. but your head may keep you away from exercise due to lack of will, or the head-you deciding it.

Weight loss isn`t just for your body-you, its also for your head-you. If you are overweight or underweight, there is no balance between those two yous. Weight loss is nothing else then bringing both in conclusion.

This thought is benefited by the following facts:

When you get a urge, to eat sweets or to binch eating, is your body-you is telling this or your head-you?

When you eat, do you eat because your body is telling you that you need to eat?

Weight loosing can benefit from it. I try to eat, when my body-you is telling me it needs food. When my tummy grawls, i know its time to eat. When i want (!) to eat, i dont do it usually, because its my head-me telling me to eat and not my body-you.

I hope you got my thought, and maybe it helps you to stop eating when you aren`t hungry or in generell during your weight loss journey :)

Greetings
