So after careful consideration I have an action plan. Thank you to everyone.
You all helped me with figuring out how I am going to approach my weight loss.
I've decided to forgivingly count calories and be carb conscious while at the same time implementing IF but easing myself in. I will be using an app to track calories and meals, and a supportive friend is joining me in this.
After I've lost enough weight to feel a bit better with myself/higher energy, I will add light excersize, to my daily routine. I will be very cautious, given my medical issues, in shaping a more active lifestyle but I have an idea of after roughly 15-20 lbs down having at least one small daily work out that I adhere to until I've lost more and can get my energy up more easily.
I will never be a pro athlete or a gym enthusiast but I'm not setting my goals to unrealistic standards for myself. I just want to be healthy.
Additionally I have my first doctor's appointment with my new doctor next week and will be requesting a specialist to deal with my insomnia and see what actions I can take to combat my muscle weakness and thyroid issues.
I've got a solid start date of Oct 22(day after my birthday), giving myself plenty of time to see my doc and maybe a specialist while switching my fridge and pantry to a more health conscious stock without wasting or throwing away food.
Thank you all again and keep an eye out for my day 1 pic + post.
