With life undeniably (and perhaps infuriatingly) slowing down, this is an opportunity to really focus on weight loss. Whether you’re just starting out, in the middle of your journey, or struggling to lose those pesky last few pounds, think of quarantine as a time to:
- track your calories and adhere to your food plan
- step up the frequency and intensity of your workouts with at-home workouts. Outside workouts are great too, just practice your social distancing
- with trips to the grocery store becoming less frequent, exercise control over what you buy once while shopping and that will be your options when at home. No risk of running to the corner to pick up junk food
- similarly, there are no temptations to go out with friends, order drinks, apps, and have unexpected high caloric days
