Hey guys, this is my second post on mobile so please forgive my errors.
So I am f26, sw256, cw245, gw165.
So I have simply been calorie counting and hitting the gym with a personal trainer once a week. I've been loosing weight pretty rapidly I think. ( 12 lbs in 16 days.) And I'm almost certain most of it is actually watching my calories. I estimate that I was probably in taking 3-4k calories a day on my bad days.
With my calorie counting I've noticed it's hardest to keep track of my intake when it comes to dinner time. My husband is also fairly overweight and he is not joining me on this journey. So I'm still cooking my usual dinners. Which for the record aren't too bad it's just been portion control.
So in an attempt to help make my calorie intake during the day time be a bit easier I've decided that I really think meal replacement or protein shakes would be a great alternative to what I've been eating.
However I'm receiving alot of mixed info about good powder choices from the internet and other people I know who have been dieting.
So I've heard if I choose whey powder I will gain weight. Which I know is true if you're just adding it in to your diet and not working out.
I only go to the gym once a week right now. However due to my job I am on my feet all day and my cico is working out for me for my intake goals, I'm supposedly burning what I need to be.
So. My main question is. In this instance where so far each day I have ended on a deficit would meal replacement be a good choice for my weight loss goals? Or will I start going in the other direction?
Also. Is whey powder my best choice? Or is there something that would be more effective for my current goal of weight loss rather than muscle building?
