So I am on week 6 of my weight loss journey and it's going a lot slower than expected. So far I have lost 6 lbs during that time. I am exercising 3 to 4 times a week, usually an hour work out class such as Zumba or kettle bell and an currently walking 2/3 miles a day.
I'm not tracking my calories but I'm doing an inverted IF (7 am to 3 pm) and I feel like I've been eating better although I have had a few cheat days to be honest.
The thing that's really bugging me is the fact that my weight fluctuates so much even just during the course of the day. I've gotten obsessed with weighing myself and it's honestly quite depressing. Usually I weigh myself in the morning while I'm getting ready but on days that I'm super active I tend to weigh myself more than once and during the course of the day it reads that I've gained anywhere from 4 to 6 lbs! And it makes me feel like that super hard workout was for nothing. Then the next morning I'll weigh myself again and it's back to around where I had been the morning before.
I was hoping to see at least 10 lbs gone by now so with the slow start and the scale jumps I'm really starting to lose motivation. Any advice from someone who has been in my shoes would be great! F/5'4"/226lbs
