Please excuse the format/grammar/spelling errors, I’m on mobile.
I started at about 158 in May and since lost about 15 pounds. I’ve been working out and doing CICO. I’ve been burning about 500 cals in the gym and eating about 1400. (Note the burning calories are from Fitbit and I eye my food).
This has been very loose with social outings not counting.
I’m looking to step it up a notch for the next 3 weeks.
Is eating 1000/cal per day unhealthy? I’ve read multiple threads that it may or may not be. I’m leaning towards doing 3 days of 1000/cals and if I can’t realistically do it for a few more weeks, up it to 1200 possibly even 1300.
I do workout as well.
I’m really hoping to lose 2/lbs a week to get me to be 137 in 3 weeks from today.
For this “stepping it up a notch” my plan is to eat turkey bacon for breakfast with a protein shake, seasoned chicken for lunch and salmon with veggies for dinner. Popcorn when I want to snack.
I don’t mind eating the same thing everyday.
I did this yesterday and ended at 1015 cals for the day and felt very full.
I’m on track to do that again today and I don’t feel hungry or tired but I don’t want to lose my muscle (which most of the threads say when eating 1000 cals).
Other than your input on calories, any meal or tip/trick that allowed you to take your dieting to the next level?
I am motivated to get to my goal weight of 130 by Halloween and I’m so happy with my progress so far! I’ve learned a new appreciation for food :)
