So I'm on a fairly strict low calorie diet averaging just under 1600 calories/day with mostly healthy foods. And for the first two weeks it seemed like weight was flying off. I had dropped from 190 down to 183 which I was concerned about honestly because it seemed too fast. I weigh in regularly every morning before I eat anything though and yesterday I was in at 187 now today 190. The only thing I can think is that since I'm trying to get back in the gym the water weight I gained from creatine is doing this, but 7 pounds in 4 days gain can't be correct, and 7 pounds water weight from creatine is alot. I was expecting 2-4 pounds or roughly 1-2% of if my weight. Anyone here ever have a crazy rebound like this without going over on calories. For reference I'm a 28 y.o. Male.
Edit: just in case anyone else searches this later and is in a similar situation, starting creatine on a cut, or diet. In my situation it's basically has to be water weight, and is nothing to worry about. Thanks for everyone that reassured me in here it's just water weight.
