Mods: Can we have age tags?

Like many people, this sub has been invaluable to my weight loss. The solidarity, the positivity, the advice. It’s all perfect and has helped me out of more than one slump or plateau. Recently, however, I’ve noticed the abundance of posts from children looking to lose weight—many are wanting to drop to reasonable amount of weight but other seem to be in a more dangerous space and using language that signals a possible ED. I don’t feel comfortable seeing these posts. I don’t feel comfortable giving a kid weight loss advice when the answer should almost always be “talk to your parents” or “did you ask your pediatrician.” I know that weight loss isn’t just an adult thing but the considerations that need to be made for a growing human—physically and cognitively—are different, so things like deep caloric cuts or reducing certain MACROs might not be safe. If we had age tags then it would be a lot easier for users to filter through the posts they can’t offer advice on.

Anyhow, just my two cents. Feel free to remove this if it violates rules.
