I was never a coffee drinker. I definitely drank too much soda/red bull over the years. I was that guy that you talked about behind his back ("is that his THIRD red bull??")
I'm a few months into my weight loss journey and have cut all that out, adjusted my eating, walk 3-4 miles per day half of which is a steep incline, and drink a 40oz water bottle with ice about 10 to 12 times a day.
I went to a gas station this week and got a 20oz french vanilla cappuccino from on of those dispensers they have there. I loved it. The caffeine boost was great, and I had no hunger for most of the day. Now looking back on my week, I realize I did this every day since Monday. I like the caffeine boost and the appetite suppression.
But I've done no research on it. So give it to me straight people: Is this a terrible decision? Is it secretly a great decision? (I'm sure it's not lol). Assuming it's a bad idea, just how bad is it. And why?

I'm open to any coffee related discussion here. It doesn't have to be about me in particular, but it can be if that's better for you as well. I'm surprised I don't know a lot about coffee, it's variants, and it's relationship with a healthy lifestyle or if it should be avoided.
Thanks!
Edit: A lot of really good conversation, content in here. Sounds like before I let myself get to into the habit of grabbing a gas station cappuccino, I should either avoid it all together or just grab black coffee and develop a taste for that.
Edit: I don't need upvotes, but definitely surprised by the downvotes lol
