I've identified the following problem for myself over my most recent attempt at long term weight loss:
I have always been overweight, my earliest memories as a kid involve me being slightly above average weight and I have remained as such all my life (now in my early twenties). I have a serious problem with actually believing in my heart of hearts that it is possible for me to reach normal weight. I thoroughly understand the science behind it, I know it is possible, I like to say that I always keep a vision of how it would be, I just never 100% internalized that it can apply to me as well.
My goal is to turn this vision of how it would be into a vision of how it will be, hence I'd like to know if some people in the same spot have some ideas for me here. Or perhaps to those who have accomplished what I'm describing, what led to you realizing for the first time that you specifically can and will or has lost the weight. I'd be happy about some suggestions
