After losing 20 pounds without really much discipline from March 2020 to October 2020 I started my “all in” weight loss journey on October 22, 2020 at 247. My “all time high” was 267 pounds in July 2019.
I am now 209 pounds.
How is it that my waist size fluctuates so much? One day I’m not able to walk up the stairs without my shorts literally falling off of me and the next they are tight.
I find “dents” around my body (like in my arms and armpit) where I’ve lost weight. I don’t even need to weigh myself to know I’m retaining water since these dents fill in/pop out. It’s kind of crazy
For those of you that went from a 2XL pants size to XL, how many pounds did it take? I am just under 5’6 and went from 267 to 209 and I still fit into most of my elastic waist 2XL shorts that I have been wearing for three years. I’m wearing XL on the days the 2XL are falling off of me.
I was wearing a 34 when I was 193 seven years ago so I assumed every 14 pounds or so I’d need to buy a new size but I’ve only had to buy new clothes or take out old ones twice in the seven months since I started.
Observation: Water weight is 1,000% more noticeable then it was 30 pounds or 50 pounds ago. I really couldn’t ever tell then but I’m now very, very aware in terms of how I feel when I have excess water weight
Also - has anyone had their body rebel when you try into speed up the pace you’re losing? My body likes to lose exactly 1.2 to 1.3 pounds a week and anytime I try to lose 2 pounds a week my body throws a fit,
