How fast is too fast?

So I’ve been on a weight loss journey for roughly 6 months. I started at 250 pounds and I have been able to lose 30 pounds in that time by tracking calories and cutting back on my drinking.

My normal calorie intake is somewhere around 1800 calories per day and I usually see a pound or 2 lost per week. I’ve had my fair share of setbacks in the last 6 months but I’ve been pretty consistent overall.

A week ago I started a job where I’m far more active than I’ve been in the past. I haven’t changed my calorie intake in that time because I’ve gotten myself into a very sustainable routine with my diet.

I have lost 3 pounds in only 4 days of working at this new job. I feel really good and energetic, I don’t feel like I’m starving myself but I am a little concerned. How fast is too fast to lose weight? Should I increase calorie intake to slow weight loss? I don’t want to do any harm to myself by not eating enough.
