Hey guys, I decided to post here because I'm starting to give up and I just feel defeated...
I've been overweight since high school. I am currently 23 years old and female. I'm 5'4 (162 / 163 CM ) and at this moment I weigh 239.4 pounds (108.6 KG).
I've been working out everyday for at least an hour and a half---excluding some weekends; also I've been documenting my weight loss journey since I started. I started June 23 at 246 pounds (111 KG). So I've at least lost 7 (3 KG) pounds since then... but the problem I've been noticing is that I can't seem to lose any more weight? I know people say to not weigh yourself everyday, but I figured that if I don't I won't be motivated enough to get up and try to lose the weight---so I just do. Since I have been documenting my weight loss everyday, I noticed that this week has been particularly hard for me. Actually the lowest weight I saw---on the scale that is--- was 236.2 pounds (107.13 KG) which I weighed on July 11 AND the 12th. But after those two days, I've been gaining about half a pound ( 0.22 KG) a day... Which is where I am now at 239.4 pounds ( 108.6 KG ) today at July 18th.
I honestly don't know what I have been doing wrong... the only thing that has changed this week versus the other weeks was that my gym has closed down due to the Corona-virus. That is literally the ONLY thing that has changed, but right after my gym closed down on the same day my friend let me use his treadmill... so my workouts at home versus the gym isn't all that different. One thing to note btw; is that I eat less than 1200 calories a day. I am speculating that this might be my problem? I know for a fact that I can lose the weight because I use to weight 254 pounds (115 KG) last year and I started to eat healthy and workout (just like what I am doing now) and I made it to 224 pounds ( 101 KG ) in LESS than 6 months I achieved all that. So since, I've done it before, I know I can do it again, but I am not sure why this WHOLE week, I've been hovering around the same weight.
NOTE: I also eat the same things almost everyday if that matters. Usually oatmeal for breakfast / Fruits or granola bars as snacks till dinner time / and for dinner I always eat salad. \\
