My starting weight was 485lbs at 6’ tall and I lost 35 pounds over the course of three months. I got back together with an ex boyfriend in that time and I guess we had an oops at some point because now I find myself pregnant for the first time at 36. I never expected getting pregnant on accident at my age and weight... like seriously, what are the chances? I have healthy friends trying to get pregnant that can’t. Life is weird.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else has had this experience and were able to continue with their weight loss through the pregnancy? Any advice on this? I want to be as healthy as I’m able to once the baby arrives. I’m still kind of in a state of shock and I spend 75% of my day pretty nauseous so I’m not eating much right now but I assume that will pass eventually. I don’t plan on “eating for two” or using that as an excuse to go back to my old habits. Unfortunately I was using intermittent fasting (20/4) to lose the weight along with CICO and I’m fairly certain I will have to stop with the fasting. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am also going to ask my OB to hook me up with a dietitian at my first appointment on the 27th as well.
