I’ve literally been at a plateau since early June

So I started my diet around March and I’ve lost 19lbs ever since. To be honest I found it unexpectedly easy to lose weight, as all it took was switching from iterally hardcore binging every day to eating normally and maybe gorging 1-3 times per week. My original idea was to go on a strict 1000-1200kcal a day regimen, but I soon realized how unsustainable that was for someone who has such a big appetite as myself. Nevertheless I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was still losing at an okay-ish pace. Quarantine also helped a lot because I stopped eating out and although kept my big portions I was able to make healthy meals.

Then June came around and the lockdown was lifted and my weight loss was extremely affected. I went back to going out and drinking and overall let the guard down a bit. As a result I lost literally 0 lbs, which still baffles me because I even went on a 4-day unintentional fast because of an episode with medication-induced nausea. I think I quickly managed to get back on track habits-wise, but still I can’t seem to drop below 137lbs, which is pretty far from my GW.

In all honestly, I’m a bit disheartened and kinda frustrated over the fact that I most likely won’t be able to reach my GW by late September (it’s when I’ll be off to college and I kinda wanted one of those summer-after-high-school-glow-ups). I guess that’d still be possible to achieve if I went hard for the next 2.5 months, but I don’t think I have it in me to.

Anyway I feel like post this came off as more upset than I actually am. My mental health has majorly improved over the past few months due to finally having found the right combination of meds and I genuinely feel so much happier and calmer than I’ve ever been before. So it’s definitely not something I’m completely obsessing about, as as much as I’d look better slimer I don’t think my current weight is one that negatively affects my physical health (unlike my SW).

Nonetheless it’s still something that would make me happy to achieve it, therefore I’d appreciate if you commented your best tips on how to lose weight fast and efficiently and perhaps shared if you’ve ever been through a long plateau-ing phase as well. Thanks in advance.
