The final stretch

Hello! I’ve been lurking here since I began my weight loss journey in May 2019. I’m 5ft 7, 23F and my highest weight was 229lbs. Between May-November I lost 52lbs and hit my lowest weight ever of 177lbs! Which was amazing, truly the best thing I’ve ever done for myself, I look and feel great to be honest. I relaxed completely with my diet during the holiday season, but maintained my 3-5 days per week of exercise and I walk a lot. I promised myself I would get back in control of my eating habits in January...and then February...and now we’re here! I’m still exercising 3-5 days, walking etc but I’ve basically been eating whatever I want since Christmas😬 it’s been a while since I stepped on a scale but my clothes still fit perfectly and I’ve lost another inch from my waist so I would estimate my weight is still around the 177-180lb mark(I’ll weigh myself on Monday!) I don’t really have a “goal weight” in mind as I’m currently the slimmest I’ve ever been and am quite happy with my body but I would really like to reach a “normal/healthy” BMI for my height which is supposedly between 122-149lbs. I weight train so I think I’d like to aim for somewhere around 145-160lbs - we’ll see how it goes! I’m just posting this for accountability really. I’ve told myself a few times now that I would start again on Monday, and so many Mondays have come and gone with no change! I think because I’m happy with my appearance now, I don’t have the same drive and motivation to stay in a calorie deficit as I did when I was bigger and felt unhealthy. Is anyone else in a similar position? I’m hoping that posting on here will help bring some of that motivation back and keep me disciplined, I certainly need it! Hope you all have a great Friday :-)
