Tachycardia

x-posted from /supermorbidlyobese

I'm an anxious person. I will have to visit a cardiologist soon, I did an EKG and there are no other issues except for the sinus tachycardia, but I also want to do an echocardiogram. I got some meds for my anxiety and some to bring the pulse down and I'm trying to relax. The doctor said what can help it is losing weight, she didn't say anything much aside of that. My question is, if any of you had tachycardia and it improved with weight loss? Thanks!

Since loseit thought this was too little I'll write some background on this. I got GERD and some gastritis and you know with GERD heartburn is rather common. I had meds for GERD an possible IBS but I still got heartburn now and again, and when I went for a routine check up they found my pulse high, today was my highest but I truly believe it's exacerbated by my anxiety as I feel my heartbeat to my throat when they take my blood pressure. So that's that. I hope it can improve with weight loss and maybe some light cardio?
