Tomorrow is my birthday. I have family who wants to celebrate even though I’m turning 35.
Yesterday was the day I decided I would cheat. The kids threw me a little party. Homemade cards and cupcakes with candles and all. It was cute and fun. How could I say no to that cupcake right?
Today I have a lunch with my grandma. She is going to be expect pasta instead of soup and salad when we go to Olive Garden.
Tuesday is lunch with my sister. She will expect a cheeseburger when we go to the local diner instead of soup and half a sandwich.
I don’t want any drama on my birthday. How do I stick to my guns while not causing a scene? Or should I just roll with it? It is my birthday and all. I know that a couple of meals isn’t going to destroy my weight loss and I can make up for it the rest of the day as long as I keep my portion sizes reasonable.
