Hi Reddit,
I’ve been a long time lurker here on the lose it page as well as 1200 is plenty and seeing all the progress has inspired me to start my own journey! As a very short woman I look VERY noticeably fatter having gained 2 stone slowly over the last few years and I saw myself in the mirror this morning and thought ENOUGH of the excuses.
So I will be sticking at 1000 cal a day perhaps eating more if I exercise (healthy amount of cals for weight loss at my height) and hopefully I can shed my first 20 pounds over the next few months.
Thanks if you read this far and also sorry because it was really not interesting lol it’s just to hold myself accountable...
So today as my fresh start I said NO going out to breakfast and instead made a spinach and chorizo omelette at home for 500 cals that will hopefully keep me full until dinner! About to go workout for an hour too so this first day feels positive and not too hard so far!
Good luck to everyone else on similar journeys... I hope I become a success story like so many of you!
