Marking my milestone

I’ve officially met my goal weight of 200lbs, after beginning at 270lbs in January. I never thought I’d come this far after so many failed attempts since I was 16.

I still have more to lose, but I’ve got myself from a 44 to a 36 in pants and a 2XL to a Large shirt. My problem areas are still there (belly and chest) but they’re so much smaller and going down every day, and I never knew my legs were so thin, or that I had such a jawline under there.

I never thought I’d be where I am. I’m in clothes I actually love and I can honestly say I think I’m attractive. I started dating a really cool guy who just lost a lot of weight himself and totally gets where I am. I’m in such a better place. I did something I’d never thought I’d do - I started seeing a personal trainer and LOVE my time with her. I’m learning to lift weights now and have a daily routine down in a gym. A real gym, with other people! They all mind their own business, and it’s great! I’m getting stronger!

My weight loss was kickstarted by getting a Fitbit. That changed everything for me. I love my Fitbit Alta HR. I preordered the Charge 3, because I really want to start swimming. I weighed in at 196 today, I want to try to get down to 180 by time it ships to be in mid-October!

It’s all CICO and exercise!!! Consistency over time!!!
