Hello, everyone! In high school (graduated 2015), I peaked at 200 pounds (i’m 5’9, female). After i broke up with my first serious boyfriend in June of 2015 I dropped down to 160 and was the best i’ve ever looked and felt in my life, completely unintentional. February of 2016 I met my husband and gained the dreaded “happy weight.” I went to the gym off and on in about 4 month increments while we were dating but never got back down to 160. Well, 6 months into our marriage I am back at 200 and ready to be happy with myself again. This means I’ve got 35-40 pounds to lose which, in the grand scheme of things, isn’t that much. What’s your best advice? What workouts should I do? How many calories should I be consuming a day for optimum weight loss? I consider myself new to the weight loss community as the first time I lost all the weight from being depressed. Any help is so appreciated. I am so ready to get my confidence in myself back!
Side note, my husband is 100% happy with me the way I am but also supports me in doing whatever I can to make myself happier. So this isn’t a “i want to lose weight because i’m being pressured.” I just wanted to put that in there so there’s no negative comments about it.
