[400lbs -> 130lbs] Excess skin left over for 5 years now...can't be doing with it any more!

Hello all! I've been around the /r/loseit posts for a whole number of years now. With the support of this lovely community, I was able to successfully carry out my weight loss journey (pics here and here) and have maintained for about 5 years now, despite a...rocky relationship with food to say the least. I've just been rejected for the removal of the excess skin for the 6th time so now I've broken and set up a gofundme. I hate that I've had to do it, but my therapist recommended it, and hopefully it'll do more good than not.

Has anyone else had an experience like this? It's always seemed to me & people I discuss it with that males with eating disorders/body image issues don't really get taken too seriously, especially in the U.K.
