I’m a 20 year old female, and I’d really like to lose just a few pounds of fat. I’d really like some advice on this. :)
I’m currently 5’1 and around 109 pounds (49kg). I’ve always been an active person - Running, walking and occasionally weight lifting and working out, so I have a reasonable amount of muscle mass, with only a few pounds that’s really bothering me, estimating, I’d like to lose about 7 pounds to get to around 102 pounds. Would this be reasonable for my height?
I’ve lost some weight before by running and calorie counting. I maintain on 2100-2200 calories, and I’m trying to cut to 1800 calories, buts it’s hard! I’m also a vegetarian. Do you know any easy, low cost (I’m a college student) healthy foods for weight loss? Also, I’m finding it hard to stick to the deficit (I’ve only started it two days ago), as I have a craving for junk food, especially at night.
I’ve also been doing intermittent fasting often. I don’t really plan it at all tbh, usually doing 16/8 hours daily (just due to my natural eating schedule), but once or twice a month 18/6 hours. I really want to try doing 20/4 or even a full 24 hour fast once a week. Any advice on this?
Also, I’m trying to start running and working out consistently over the week, where as before I just kind of did it without tracking my exercise. I run for about 40 minutes, and I want to do his about 3-5 times a week, as well as working out for about 5 days a week.
Can any of you offer some advice on how to stick to the calorie counting, IF and any other things I should be doing to start losing weight? Thanks :)
