Photo progress!: Photo
I started my progress photo in March of 2018 but didn't start my weight loss journey until June 2018. My goal initially was just to hit 1200-1500 calories per day. I started working out consistently (3 times per week) and at the new year I began a challenge with a local gym and that is where I have seen a lot more of my progress. I workout at least 4 times a week with HIIT, weight lifting, or cardio. I mix things up as they offer a lot of classes and that seems to work for me. I am very strict about not going above 1200 calories per day and try to go lower carb. The ideal macro each day is 40/40/20 -> protein/fat/carbs. That is the percentage of calories from each category.

I use MyFitness pal to keep me on track and keep track of my progress.

Some days are easier than others but I have now found a rhythm and a motivation that keeps me moving forward. Finding the daily motivation in the long run was hard. I started with a personal trainer. This is someone that was just starting their business. But when they fizzled out I found a program through a local gym. The program had weekly weigh-ins, motivation, and advice when I needed it. This has helped me find my own motivation to go to the gym consistently. The BIGGEST component to this program has been teaching me to meal prep. Every Sunday we cook enough food for the week. Taking away the stress of deciding what to eat each day and always having healthy options on hand has been life changing. Meal prep por vida!

I just figured I would share my progress in case it helps anyone else out there. I know I always look for similar stats and goals.
