I'm new around here but I wanted to show of my weight loss. I'm not sure this is right place.
January 1 was when I started getting serious about losing weight. At that time I weighed 346 pounds and could only walk 1/2 mile. I started carefully monitoring the calories I was taking in by using myfitnesspal. I also started walking everyday.
I am not really "dieting", I am just aware of what calories I take in and what I am burning off. If I really want something I have then walk it off so my daily calorie intake is lower than my calorie burn. I once walked five miles before bed because I really wanted lasagna for supper.
About 5 weeks ago I started transitioning from walking to running because I was up to 4 miles a day and it was taking too much of my day.
About 2 weeks ago I started doing yoga to help improve my overall fitness.
This morning I weighed 266 pounds. That's 80 pounds I have lost.
Yes I'm bragging. I'm telling anybody that will listen to me.
