Now that I’m back on a diet and loosing to get to 8% body fat, I forgot how saggy my skin gets. My loose skin got better but that’s only because I gained 11 pounds back after my initial weight loss. Now that I’m slowly getting back down… I am starting to feel like shit again about my body. I get it “comparison is the thief of joy” and “be proud of your progress” but it sucks to see others achieve your goals in less time because they were never obese. Skinny people go through their own set of lived experience and struggles. However, their bodies are in the best position possible to gain muscle and stretch out their skin with no loose skin. I’m getting a 360 body lift in April, however I’m so defeated that anything will change because I’ve lost the weight and did everything right, and I got left with a saggy unattractive version of myself that actually worked hard. I want to look like the guys you see on TikTok and I don’t really care if I have to get on steroids to do so. I would do anything to just not look like how I do, which is why I’m working so hard to change it, however the skin will always prevent me from having the best possible physique I can and I’m fed up. I wish I had started skinny.
