“Ideal Weight” of 140lbs

I’ve weighed over 160lbs since the age of 15. I gradually put on about 20lbs over the course of high school until I weighed about 183lbs during senior year.

I believe I was 5’6” at the start of high school and 5’8” by the end of it.

I’m 22 now and have managed to get up to almost 200lbs, back down to 185lbs, further down to 170lbs, and then back up to 185lbs again.

Right now I’m at 173lbs and shooting for my first major goal weight of 140lbs. I’m starting to take my weight loss seriously.

As an adult woman, I’ve never fit comfortably into clothing smaller than an XL or a size 12(US) pant.

I’ve already made great strides in terms of my mental health, yknow not tying my worth to a number on the scale etc etc...

BUT I want to achieve a fit and lean body... something I’ve never experienced before. It’s more of a challenge for myself to achieve a goal I always thought was out of reach.

I’d just like some input from fellow ladies with similar heights (5’7/5’8 ideally) who are at my goal weight.... or on a similar journey to me! :)

I know weight loss looks different on everybody because people start at different weights, they lose weight via different methods and obvi everyone has different weight distribution... so that will all be taken into account’
