Questiom about tdee?

So im in the beginning stages of making changes so i can lose weight. Im 5'3 24yo Female CW: ranges from 180-188. GW: 135-125. I calculated my TdEE and all that and i should be eating around 1200 cal. A day to lose weight. I use the MyFitnessPal app. So i input my food, and keep track of my calories that way. And ill input my exercise and then my calories that im able to eat go up. For example, i had 230 calories i could eat for the rest of the day but when i logged my walking my calories i could eat went up to 500. Is that accurate? Am i able to eat more when i excersize or should i stick to my 1200/day to have better results with my weight loss?
