Long time lurker, first time poster here. I recently made the decision to stop drinking, which has always been a saboteur in my weight loss. I'm getting married in about six weeks, followed up with a two week honeymoon. I want to focus the next few weeks on my health. This may not be an ideal time to make changes but when is there ever a time without stress or some event on the horizon? In addition to no booze, I'll be following a portion control plan and getting daily exercise. I'm grateful to have this community. Any one have experience with the relationship between alcohol abstinence and weight loss?
