in january of 2022 i started losing weight and went from 245 pounds to 200 pounds. after maintaining 200 pounds for about a year, i recently decided to start losing again, and today i hit 190 pounds, which means i’m no longer classified as obese by bmi and am officially over halfway to my goal weight of 145 pounds!
also, i’m 20 pounds lighter than the fake weight i put on my state id when i was seventeen (which i think is my favorite thing).
i know the last of it will be much slower and harder, but i’m proud and excited anyway.
(also, unrelated question, i’m getting my gallbladder out this week because of gallstones. i’m excited about the changes i’ll have to make to my diet because before i was only restricting calories. if anyone has any extra tips for the low-fat diet it would be appreciated!)
